Panchubi,

I do not believe this is possible with current versions of MuseScore.

Note heads can have any color. Right click on a note head and select "color".
There is no way to set a default color or to automatically color notes
dependent on their pitch or other properties.

Re: Colored Notes

Hi,

And there is any way to save the color of the note in a MIDI file?? And then convert MIDI to PNG with the notes colored??.
Is very complicated, but it'd be very useful to me.

Thanks

Re: Colored Notes

MMilford
My understanding of MIDI is that it only contains information about the sound of a note. No formatting information whatsoever. So the printed note being red would not be able to be saved in a .mid file.
only things, like pitch, patch, velocity, duration, etc.
