Crash when moving notes up or down

David Bolton-2
I noticed the following crash in r1022 for Windows XP:

1. Select existing note on staff
2. Press the up arrow key

I think it is consistent. (It happened three times before I learned to
stop doing it :)

David,

I tried to reproduce your problem with r1022 on both XP and Vista and I didn't succeed. I simply tested with the demo score which comes up on a fresh start.

Is it possible that you have issues with your sound library, because when you change a note (arrow up) it might trigger a bug with the sound lib. Just thinking out loudly.

David, I made a mistake, I tested with r1012, not r1022. Thats the latest on http://prereleases.musescore.org/
Where did you get the r1022 build from?

Btw with r1012, I experiment a crash when I create a new score from scratch, for saxophone, then click "Play". I use the fluid soundfont and not the piano.sf2 embedded. (btw how can I go back to that soundfont ?)

this crash should be fixed in one of the latest commits.
The URL for the buildin SF is ":/data/piano1.sf2" (note the trailing ":")

In reply to this post by Thomas Bonte
Thomas,

My mistake not yours. I am using r1012. I tried it again today and
noticed that I only had the problem with certain scores. I attached one
of the scores that was acting up. When I reverted back to the default
piano sound library I still had the same crash.

David

David, I could reproduce your problem on Vista. Seems like an issue for the core dev team ;-)

Re: Crash when moving notes up or down

David Bolton-2
It turns out that the horizontal frame in front of the first measure
later causes the crash when I try to move notes up or down.
