Hi all,

A new windows testrelease is available at
http://prereleases.musescore.org/mscore-r646.exe

>From the ChangeLog:
26.1.8
      - fixed note entry with mouse: clicking on on F space in a treble stave
gets a Fis in D major instead of wrong F natural
      - enhanced autobeamer based on lilypond beam tables
25.1.8
      - fix tuplet handling for tuplets with baseLen of 1/4
      - another build fix: newest cmake does not understand empty "target_link_libraries()"
      - fix build system: mscore.desktop was not found
24.1.8
      - fixed Rest() initialization so that dottet rests work for
        musicxml import
      - fix crash when trying to enter notes beyond score end
      - fix cursor position in note entry mode
      - removed obsolete small symbols from symbol table

Hi,
I track the svn. You commit a lot ! I wonder if a new windows test release is scheduled ? If not is there a quick "how to build mscore" somewhere ? If I compile on a linux box, do I have the windows release too ? I make a try on a fedora box. I was able to do :
cmake release .
then
make

I got plenty of .o file in mscore.dir. Am I on the good way ?

Thks !

if i find the time i will try to create a new test version today

> If not is there a quick "how to build mscore" somewhere ?

The README file says:

      - unpack source distribution
            tar xvofj mscore-x.x.x.tar.bz2

      - make
            cd mscore-x.x.x
            make release

if something goes wrong, then remove the whole build subdirectory
with "make clean" and start new with "make release"

      - install as root user
            sudo make install

This assumes you previously have installed all dependencies.

no, there are more dependencies and the cmake scripts contain hardcoded path
into my system.

thats ok so far. A "sudo make install" should install into "/usr/local" and you are
done.
