Next released version of MuseScore

ChurchOrganist
Is there a ballpark figure for the next MuseScore release??

The reason I ask is because I want to make sure that the SF3 version is packaged up and ready for this.

I have just undertaken a bugfix and a couple of extensions to the default soundfont, so it would be great to have them included.

I have recently changed the download point to a single folder on my Google Drive. This is available from the Soundfonts Forum at MuseScore.org but in case you can't get there here is a direct link to it on my Google Drive......

No ETA.

I just started to list some bugs I would like to be fixed before 2.0.3 release

Regarding the extensions to the default soundfont, one thing that bother me is that I believe we don't export any bank select to MIDI files. If we keep on adding more stuff in banks > 0, we also need to fix this.

Re: Next released version of MuseScore

OK

I don't think not exporting the bank selects is likely to be a big issue, as usually the motive for MIDI export is for rendering the tracks with VST instruments, which probably makes the exported Program Change messages irrelevant also.

So unless the user has exactly the same soundfonts set up in their DAW as they have in MuseScore (which is unlikely) the bank select messages will be redundant.
