Run-time error on 64bit-Linux

gts
Hello all,

I want to help out with bug reporting, so I tried and mangaged to build
and install 516d037 on OpenSUSE 12.3-64bit, but this is what I get when
I start it:

Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/56-user.conf", line 9: reading
configurations from ~/.fonts.conf is deprecated.
Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/56-user.conf", line 9: reading
configurations from ~/.fonts.conf is deprecated.
MasterSynthesizer::setState: unknown <Aeolus>
Fontconfig warning: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/56-user.conf", line 9: reading
configurations from ~/.fonts.conf is deprecated.
TextStyleType <TextLine> not found
name2type: invalid type <AccidentalBracket>
: xml read error at line 1159 col 29: AccidentalBracket

Does anyone have an idea what this is about?

Guido

Manually upgrade your production database.
When you want reliability, choose Perforce
Perforce version control. Predictably reliable.

Hi Guido,

You probably have an old preference file. Can you run mscore -F ?

Thanks Lasconic,

That must have been it, now it works!

Could this be something needing an improvement in way that musescore
does not fall over it without giving the user a hint or even better
offer to ignore the preference file?

BTW: If it is of any help I could provide my build(s) until Robert finds
out what's wrong on his box?

Re: Run-time error on 64bit-Linux

I put the files here:

   http://mscore.paralelepipedo.de/files/

I decided to use 7z for it's better compression. Is that ok?

You'll find RPM- and DEB-packages too that I built using checkinstall.
I'm not sure if they are of any use. At least the RPM installs fine on
my OpenSUSE-12.3, but I don't know if the debian-package works. You
might want to give it a try.
