Some bugs, and other things

israelzeu703
Hello, dears

I'm very happy with new feature in this new versions...Longa, breve, new clefs....

But, the test version 1366 have a really annoying bug:

-The line (8va, 8vb, tr~~~~~~~) menu, in palette doesn't have anything ! You can put a line, but they are invisible in palette. They are only visible using the menu Create way...and, when I put a line using palette, the  program crashes

- You can put a "middle-staff splitting" feature: What is this ? very simple, with my example:

Page 1: I have 2 Sopranos in my work, in this page they're using the same music (Unisson - the chorus are in SATB)

Page 2: I want to put a Soprano 2 staff (SSATB), but I want to keep page one in SATB; SSATB is in page two only

If this feature are present in past versions, how I can do this ?

- When the official 0.94 will be released ?

- I want to improve the Portuguese translation. How I can do this ?

Thanks, and a good day

How to improve the Portuguese translation:
1. Download and install QT linguist at http://www.qt-apps.org/content/show.php/Qt+Linguist+Download?content=89360
2. Download and open the mscore_pt.ts file from https://mscore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mscore/trunk/mscore/share/locale/ .
3. Open the mscore_pt.ts file in QT linguist, translate the string, save the file and upload your new version to the translation forum http://www.musescore.org/en/forum/9 and we'll make sure it gets committed.

I feel compelled to ask ;-) Would you be interested to translate the few menu pages on musescore.org to Portuguese as well? When search engines like google will index the website in Portuguese, it will for sure help the adoption of MuseScore. And the more developers, the more likely our bug reports will get fixed ;-)

The internal structure of mscore does not allow to add or remove a staff in the
middle of a score. But the desired effect can be achieved by hiding a staff.
This is not completly implemented in current version and there is a gui
missing to do this. But you can already experiment with the "Hide Emtpy
Staves" style option with should allow for a similar effect.

As far as I know, the "Hide Empty Staves" option is how other notation
editors also work. The main feature that is missing in the MuseScore
implementation is the ability to specify the range of systems or a
selection that this property should apply to. In orchestral scores it is
typical to show all the staves on the first system and then hide empty
staves thereafter.

Another thing, is in parenthesis or akkolade,

when you put the bracket, after you put the akkolade, the 1st akkolade is
above the bracket, but put the 2nd akkolade (in other place, not in same
place of 1st) the akkolade turns below of the bracket (1st case) ! Or, the
akkolade is put very long of bracket, doing a strange score...(2nd case)

The correct is akkolade above the bracket and fixed within.(3rd case)

1st case  http://www.nabble.com/file/p21053140/imagem1.jpg

2nd case  http://www.nabble.com/file/p21053140/imagem2.jpg

3rd case  http://www.nabble.com/file/p21053140/imagem3.jpg

Thanks and good day
