this needs more code. The "auto beamer" modul in mscore is very silly and does not
know much about starting and stopping a beam. Thats because i do not know either.
Maybe someone can point me to some infos on the net.

the cursor ist just another way to visualize "note input mode". The behaviour is
broken (the cursor is accidentally set before layout takes place which sometimes
results in arbitrary cursor positions). This is fixed in current svn.
