filing bugs: SF issue tracking or mailing list

Hi Werner & other developers,

I have a question concerning the way we should report bugs or requests. One way, there is the SF issue tracking, the other way is to use this mailing list.  Which one do you prefer?

Many other open source project tend to use the mailing list only.  Especially when there are not that many developers. My personal feeling is that we can start with the mailing list as well and see how it evolves.

I would prefer the mailing list, because it's easier. As you said there aren't that
much developers which would justify the overhead.
