lots of images not working in locally compiled version

Jim Newton
I have a problem in my compiled version of musescore that lots of small images don't show up.  Here is an example, in the first measure the dynamics mp ligature looks like a couple of little rectangles. .  Also notice in measure 7, some of the special symbols in the Figured Bass have the same issue.   At one point I looked in the xml file and saw some reference to unicode which I didn't find in much older xml files.

Has someone seen such an issue?

There are some warnings which musescore starts.  I'm not sure which ones are the important ones if any.

The warnings on the command line don't reveal anything.

A MSCZ file would help to see if we can reproduce the problem. Does it happen in the stable 2.0.1?

FYI, these are not images but characters from a font.

I guess that your system is Mac.
I could check under Linux Mint17.1 since I compile daily....just send your mscore file

I tried this with 2.0.1, and indeed I can see all the characters correctly.

With a build of master on my machine (Mac OSX 10.10.3, XCode 6.3.2). I see the characters.

Are you sure you ran the install target lately?

Re: lots of images not working in locally compiled version

Jim Newton

Thanks to the help from Nicolas.
I rebuilt the xcode setup, and re-ran the install target from within the new xcode.

csh> make -f Makefile.osx xcode
csh> open build.xcode/mscore.xcodeproj &

Then re-build mscore, and all the fonts seem to be working correctly.
That's a relief!
I'm glad it works now.
